We're also a huge alliance attacking a single isle player or is this a multi? Why were they attacking POSE in the first place?

Not entirely sure - and as with most single isle accounts I don't think we'll ever find out.

Hiya, first thanks for the support,

I have only one ocean 1 isle and while it hiolds a load of defence and a fairly large fleet i didnt have any catas on it that I could use as i had shipped them all to ocean 23 to combat his other accounts in the newer oceans...


I bit of background,

A player called Gamer1 has some sort of issue with little, over an isle steel 6 months ago, he since has claimed to have set up a "shadow" alliance, which he says "are players who were giving up" they all have user ID's in the 258*** or 264*** range and all have 1 isle built up to around 500 points and hold 400+lws and 80+ cats. .

He did show me a url claiming that it was his recruiting page, but to be honest without the URL you could never hope to stumble on it, so its obviously a cover...

I used 'WHOIS' on the main page (www.ikshadow.com) and also google whacked ikshadow, and it seems he is a prolific MMRPG player originating from slovinia. I have his IP and am considering asking the admin of the IK forum to check it against the IP associated with larger players.

I guess he has a top 70-40 acct in a top 5 alliance, and some of the accounts that we have identified seem to have links/protection from [pain] but we have no firm proof of anything at this stage..

We have been bolstering our defences and attacking the originating isles now for what seems like months, My original thought was to let him have his fun as he will soon run out of accounts, but to date he has only slowed the rate at which he exposes another account.


I beleive most of these accounts are automated, they are CONSTANTLY building back up and attacks are resent within seconds of fleets landing home, regardless of the time of day/night...

Attacks recently have come from:

Dragonstar
gamer1 =constant hits launched at this one
silverfoxx = smashed before 14sep, possible fleet of 150lws left
blkbeard = smashed on 19th sep no fleet at that time
greywiolf =smashed last week, no fleet left
Stapler = sent a small attack 16 days ago, has since not attacked. assumed to hold 400+ lws

Have you considered re-engaging the player and asking him some questions? (i.e., "What do you want to settle this?")

Have you tried to chek out these accounts using the database? It has some interesting tools for this kind of hunt.
