Well i've still got 2 attack fleets inward bound to 2:69:17, ETA in approx. 10hrs so if someone from -S- colonises before they arrive it could stir it up a little.

Sorry I couldn't adress the issue of the authenticity of my post earlier, I've been out.
It was indeed true (as we have now seen). My personal opinion is that each attacking alliance gets two isles (to pay back what we lost even though it won't come close to covering it and only two people can benefit). Then Tyrant can delete his account or whatever, my only issue is that whilst he says he quits the .com server I have little doubt he'll come back.
We could do with watching for rising stars under the protection of current [-S-] members and watching to see if any lose a colony to a new player.

Even if this is now over, im sure we will have plenty of trouble from -S- in the future, while we still need to consider Tyrants revenge

Trouble raised an interesting point on the .com forum actually, has he really quit or did he get blocked? It would be very easy for him to verify (eg a post on the -S- internal board, sending a new fleet), if he has indeed been blocked I'd certainly chuckle.

I got one too, I wonder if every admin in Corleth got one <lol>, but seriously. That would mean on top of loosing 2 colonyships and 70% fleert and cats I would have to give up the isle to them ? I don't think so.
They may pull it off ofcourse, but if we let them take these isles then they get even stronger than they are now. I say let them expend their fleets and resources on an all out war on ALL pacted members.
Why don't we give them this answer:
"-S- versus everyone else ? Deal !"
or this one (apologies to Oliver, it's not personal ofcourse):
"Ah, a request German style. Toll !
You can get the isle back, in smoking cinders or not at all."

Or we could say that those isles that have already been taken will remain with their current owners, but no further isles will be colonised?

I'd agree with Arminius, I have no problem with having lost fleet for no gain but once we have a colony we keep it. So far only 5-6 isles have been taken, thats more than fair in my opinion.
-S- might try to fleet catch the isles (unless Tyrant got blocked) and therefore gain in two ways (no lost fleet + isle) whereas we paid for our isles with fleet.
Interestingly has anyone seen evidence he [RE: Tyrant] still has access to the account?

I suggest we go over our reasons for attacking TYRAN in the first place and re-itterate the fact the we did this for the greater good, yad yada... i expect theyre playing hardball, but would like a compromise anyways ... hence the 24 hour cooling off period.
how about: (Having proof read , i can see a whole lot that needs tweeking but dont have time... sure you get the gist)
Hi, several of our members have received a PM stating that you wish to take on TYRANS isles, this concearns us as the whole opperation was designed that NO ONE PROFITED from cheating and multi accounting, the isles that have been colosised by our members were only taken in responce to the support some players were showing to TYRANT even though Stevie Wonder could see that he is cheating, and sending him endless troops/ resources.
The players that do have isles are those of us that have expended the most, and the truth is they would never have suicided 100lws etc on such an isle without moral reasons.
While we all went into this knowing that it would be at a loss to our alliances we did not expect that players would actually try to help him, our original plan(as ever) was to turn the isles to nothing, no building no troops just scorched earth... it was becoming obvious that the only way we could stop him shipping in stoners/catas from other accounts to rebuf our forces was to give them no destination to 'defend'.
We have no objection that I can see to your guys flatteneing the already clear isles and building them back up once you have them but surely you cant expact to take tham as they are, with good concience?...
in the scheme of things thes isles represent very little points gain but they symbolise a whole lot more...... you chealt and get cought and the community at large will take your Culo! down....#1 or not.. as noble a cause as any in my book smoky.
more to be added RE: our willingness to come to the table, but I dont think we should let them tallk to us like gods...

In any case, we have at least 24 hours to really catapult the isles.
