Just declare war on [Pain], but not [Digg]. [Digg's] hardly going to be able to come to their aid are they? Knock a few isles out, and [Pain] will want peace! That sounds like fun PAIN got quite a presence in the east aswell which would mean we might get some more intense action.

While I understand that DIGG's splitting is going to take time, we need to put a timelimit on our patience, and set some measurable goals. (If A is met, the deadline can be extended, if B is not met, we will enter the fray) Or else this could go on indefinitely with good intentions.

Back on topic: I agree Kae, we can't let them keep saying "Yeh we will do it" just to keep us at bay. We also need to get PAIN out of this war. Through force in ness.

Dunno if this influences anything, but E||M are having a vote right now on whether or not to join or attack Pantheon. Dhaaran has also mentioned that if Morkin joins they will not be aiding DIGG.
I don't know how serious this poll is. I know McGoogus has access to their forums, so maybe he can say something with more clarity. However, if this vote in E||M is a serious one, and Morkin/Pantheon admins are working on getting DIGG to split, then it might be good to inform E||M not to attack DIGG or "aid" Pantheon until your negotiations are finished...

It's very true, and would rule out any chance of digg just using it as a stalling tactic. It's been what 5ish days now and they have 'split' 1.5% of their score up... Now we just have to think of a nice way to put it so we dont sound demanding ;D

Here is my suggestion:
Digg has stated that the poll will go up Monday. We give them until Thursday to tell us the conclusive results of that poll, and make a decision.
Since the Admins are leaning towards splitting (or we wouldn't be having this discussion), I think it would be reasonable to have a draft splitting document shown by Wednesday. Things that should be in this document are:
Admins of future alliances, members of future alliances, defining reason why these people are in that alliance together (location, comradery, etc.)
Dates on when these alliances will be formed, and DIGG will begin to be dissolved. In my mind, this can be in stages, but the dates are very important.
Final deadline for a dissolved DIGG.
In this, we can give a week flexibility on the alliances splitting, but not on the final deadline. This will allow DIGG to show us REAL goodwill by not just shooting the smoke, but providing firm, measurable means for us to see that they are really taking action, not just talking.
Since the plan would be drawn at this point, if the poll is successful, then the plan could be put in motion immediately, and not tied up in bureaucracy for another two months. It also would eliminate their ability to rationalize their way out of it, if the plan is already defined.
So once again:
A) Tentative plan for splitting by Wednesday B) Poll Results by Thursday C) Plan put into action (or at least the final revision) by Monday (1 week leeway)
They have had nearly two weeks to discuss this, which is more than enough time to make a decision.
I feel strongly that by laying these guidelines out, we will protect ourselves from outside scrutiny, as well as provide a reasonable, measurable framework for DIGG to split. If they are serious about this, I see no reason why they should gawk at that plan.
It is open to discussion and to revision, although I feel the timeline is reasonable.

Kae, that's brilliant. We should stick with this, and let DIGG know it. That's plenty of time.

From Pantheon ingame forums, thought you might be interested...
I take it the majority of the people are not aware of what is really going on with NAPS, which alliances are involved, and when such alliances are closing a deal.
