ORC declares war on RAID

If they behave like bullies, then I don't see why we should let them get away with it. We haven't got any official diplomatic ties with them, so even if we stay neutral/lethargic towards them, I don't see why we should not help RAID on an individual basis.

I think it's always been Morkin's style that everybody can mostly do what they want, unless the alliance decides otherwise. So until we decide to support Orc, feel free to support their enemies.

It would be a shame though if RAID disappeared, they have some quality players there.

Orb 12:81:8 is safe at the moment, it's still got a fleet and no attacks inbound. They seem to be busy attacking the rest of my islands in ocean 12.

I know Synthesis has been getting hit hard... djtimx is getting hit hard in oceans 11 and 12... leethegiant was getting hit pretty bad in 24/34 but I'm not sure if he still is...

We were just a -little- out numbered in this war. I managed to only loose 3 islands so far. We are going to attempt to negotiate terms for surrender in the next few days.

RAID is willing to concede the victory to Orc in this war.

Orc has shown us the flaws in our battle tactics, and RAID has learned much about defense and offense from the numerous and mighty attacks that Orc has placed against us, as well as the defensive capabilities the Orc have shown.

RAID would like to offer up island 31:77:8 as tribute to the Orc, who have shown honor and strength in this war as well as the other islands that the Orc have claimed.

RAID looks forward to mutual tolerance with The Mighty Orc Horde.

We also look forward to putting the Orc teachings to use and proving ourselves worthy in the second half of the global human/elf genocide.

We currently have several fleets in the water, and will not launch any new attacks once the Orc have agreed with our concession.

RAID will give TMOH a list of all fleets that are currently in the water from our active and online members along with their approximate landing times.

We know the Honorable Orc would provide us with the same information.

Any islands claimed by fleets currently in the water will become the property of the alliance who claimed them, and no retaliation will be made by either side.


Translation

Orc strong and brave. RAID want to be like Orc some day. We learn much from Orc and want to be worthy of Orc approval.

Pointless?

Orcs got to have their fun and uphold their vision of justice. RAID learned some warfighting lessons and tactics.

Several RAID members enjoyed themselves immensely in this war. It felt good to stretch our proverbial legs..

Orc has taught us much in the battle. Once I relaxed and realized it was just a game, things got better for me.

Bizarre.

It sounds like the closest the Orcs in public can come to an apology for starting a war on a very flimsy excuse, while Synthesis tries to accept the apology in a sportsmanlike manner.

The ongoing attack on GFY and to other ex-Orcs is probably linked to this, to expell the warmongers and leave them to be exterminated by others. A couple of RAID players are involved in Operation Infinite Waffles now.
