Here's a copy of what I posted to the internal forum:
----- Thanks for the warm welcome, and for accepting me into [FoM].
I'd be happy to answer any questions about myself, but I'll start by offering the information that I'm - 30 years old - happily married - employed full-time as half the IT department of a restaurant franchise with 34 stores - self-employed in an on-site computer troubleshooting, repair, and training business - enjoying my time in Inselkampf so far - living in the Boise, Idaho, USA area -----
To that, let me add that my username is from my hobby of programming (integer data types) and a growing reputation for "magically" being able to determine the cause of a programming problem.

Thank you for the warm welcome. If I seem a bit quiet for a while, it's because I'm working to catch up on at least the most recent posts on both forums. With current work demands, it's taking some time.
Are there any particular forums that I should read thoroughly from the beginning?

Ah, welcome. I am a bit slow, but like Timberwolf, I am from the Corleth arm of the triumvirate.
How does your employer feel about you having your own business as well?

Ah, welcome. I am a bit slow, but like Timberwolf, I am from the Corleth arm of the triumvirate. How does your employer feel about you having your own business as well? I was hired with the understanding that I needed flexible working hours, and since my employer is not in computers, but the quick service restaurant industry, it's been a good fit for the most part. My hope is to slowly reduce the hours I work for my employer as I get more contracts for my business. Right now I'm still in the "frantically trying to get everything done" phase.

I've seen references online to upgrading a storehouse to level 30, provided that there is a statue, which can only be built if all buildings are level 20.
Since the .com version of Inselkampf does not support statues, is the absolute maximum level for a storehouse is 20?
For those who have played on .de or .co.uk, did you find that the primary benefit of upgrading past level 20 was the increased resource protection?

For those who have played on .de or .co.uk, did you find that the primary benefit of upgrading past level 20 was the increased resource protection? I don't think that was a big factor; if your buildings were at that level then you should have had enough defence to avoid being plundered. But the additional capacity is somewhat useful to avoid wasting resources — particularly if you're building colony ships, or for players with hundreds of isles.

Due to being overloaded in real life for the next while and some upcoming business travel, I have asked AeroS to watch my account. I expect the time I have available to be rather slim for the next few weeks, into the beginning of June.
AeroS: Thanks for your continued help.

I'm back, catching up, and actively trying to help out the war efforts in my area.
Thanks to AeroS for his great support and help in my absence.
