At the end of last wekk my foretooth became extremely sore.
It is tooth that was cut in half about a decade ago in a fistfight i had while on a rockfestival. (I won btw, they, and i say they because there was three of them, ran away eventually.)
Anyway the rest of the tooth was then replaced with plastic, while the root and the bottom part remained as original.
So, last thursday i ate chocolate and and didnt brush my teeth and went to bed. And in the morning it ached and was sore, and worsened throughout the weekend.
Saturday I told my friend that haha, i will probably get time for dentist in mid december.
This morning I called the dentist, and got time in 20 minutes!
They took xrays and decided to kill the struggling tooth. Drilled a hole... and yeah, asked do i want aesthetic. (I would have preferred the other way around)
Well through that hole they poked and mangled the internals of the tooth. I saw piece of nerve flying out! ;D

Root canal work is ... painful. I know by personal experience. But when I first read this thread's subject, I feared that somebody had been kampfed bad. Mondays are the most prone for kampfing, also in my personal experience. If there's a risk involved in any kind of IK operation, don't do it on Mondays.

The most painful experience I've ever had was a root canal. The dentist didn't numb me and started to drill. He then had to give me a shot directly into my nerve. It was an incredibly intense amount of pain and I consider myself to have a high tolerance for it. Now I make sure they numb the hell out of me every time I get work done. Oh and I plan on being a dentist someday

Nobody asked about the fight... Them running was actually true, but what i did not tell was they did not escape me. I was in in no condition to fight after been kicked in the head while holding one of them on the ground... I was not unconsious but very dizzy, and they would have surely beaten me up completely, but i have had brains enough earlier to yell bystanders to call cops. So, they actually escaped in fear of the cops, just before the final blow... which they kinda planned (i was told by some girl later that they almost started kick "the hell out" of me) And lucky for me they did run, and lucky for them too as the cops actually arrived in about minute after they ran.

Bullies! What instigated the fight?

McGoogus! I've just started doing Dentistry at Glasgow Uni. It's a great choice btw. Plenty always going on socially and the like. Not to mention plenty of good-looking people. (I suppose the course is ok too ) And good to hear you stood up to them! I wouldn't of bought them anything either! Ever find out of they got caught?

No... i filed the papers to add it to the statistics, but they've not been catched, nor did i expect they would. I had no names nor good descriptions.

Such is the way of things I guess.
Things like that are ridiculous though. One night a couple of years ago some people woke up my dad at around 3 in the morning because they were jumping on his car. Obviously he wasn't too pleased. He ended up chasing and grabbing the guy who was on the car and waiting for the police to come. Nothing happened because the kid was 15 (the police were just going to let him go without doing anything before my dad pointed out that the footprints on his car matched his shoes). The thing that REALLY pissed us off though was that the kid's parents filed charges on my dad for assault. People nowadays can get off with anything...
