like I'm sad to see Clause's account for sale on the forums... Even though I can understand the reasons. I can't say too much, but suffice it to say, the IK forums are an exceptional tool to reach the IK community short of spamming in-game. Do not take everything you read at face value. That's true. I guess I'll just wait and see what happens

Sometimes there are bad times but people you need to outlast them, nothing good ever came from quitting.
Dull times: Log in once a week. Exhaustion: Don' take isles. Tempting offer: Think about Judas. Rotten Leg: Take your pills. Relationship crisis: Dump your GF/BF/Wife/Husband, give children away.

Ah that sucks. Things at the moment are looking very bad for IK. Both me and Ruku are bored to tears with our accounts. Your welcome back in KoM but can you please leave the alliance before you hand it over. Of course I will. Ill re-apply eventually with a new account ^^

It's absurd! The amounts of money changing hands are just out of proportion to anything this game can benefit anyone. What's the point of buying accounts up? To me me it's an admission of defeat, that you can't compete on equal terms with the other players, and have to buy up stuff to get ahead. Or you take this way, way too seriously and probably need to get out more.

Would you say theres a difference between buying an account and buying stone throwers and catapults ? Yes, but not in principle. The difference is in the magnitude of the ... offense (for lack of a better word). Like both stealing a candybar in a supermarket and robbing the same supermarket's register are violations of the law, but the degree of the crimes are not the same. I could somehow sympathise if someone bought an account instead of starting from scratch, but that's not what people are doing. They are buying up accounts to strengthen already strong existing accounts.

Even though this is excactly what E|S did, I like the idea It's a valuable lesson in life that you shouldn't pay that kind of money for a free online game, and this would be a way to show it.

I get the feeling that most us are reading from the same page, and are thinking something should be done sooner rather than later.
For those not following the thread in Luxor I'll repeat my suggestion of not recognising friendly takeovers and treating a merging account as ownerless. (The alternative is to treat the player as a multi)
Shall we pick a candidate to make an example of; and get the message out that we will not stand by idle while a few individuals destroy the server. While we could let them take on DIGG which would seem to be their goal - that will probably just force even more mergers.

I'd like to say make Rhinokiller an example as he's already purchased a lot and to my knowledge is the largest purchaser on IK, or we could try Wumpus.

I'm in favour of some action. If we go after Rhinokiller I would like DIGG to join in, as we need to keep it contained, and only overwhelming power can keep his allies from helping him.
I think it's fair to call him out as a multi as he clearly controls multible accounts. We just need to be prepared in case things escalate. And in any case be prepared for heavy losses taking him down.

We should spend a week preparing for it by sending stonies to local islands close to him and then announce our intentions. It shouldn't take a week to prepare but its a good round number.
