Kirk has three fleets incoming. All three have M6F in their name. ;D So, no need for panic. But, Wimpo, on the other hand, ... Btw, I'm gonna try a new tactic - two-wave invasion on Broken. Let's see how it goes...

OK, first wave at Broken: 2C587AF129494C292AAC4FDA5B2ED0
Pity that there is no F/O for ground troops.

Presumably, your second wave also has Assault tanks and RL/MAV? This is exciting - a bit like "What happens next" on A question of sport (apologies to non- Brits)

Second wave is: Class 1 Carrier 1 Bullet Class Fighter 50 Class 2 Transport 38 Total 89 with Assault Tank 2.274 Mobile Rocket Launcher 158 Mechanised Assault Vehicle 88 I wanted to save as many tanks as possible to take care of MAVs and RLs. But to spare fleet to be taken as much as possible as well. We'll see. Addition: Damn, I cannot save Imp's fleet. His friends came to help with Bullets and Hawks. I guess I'll have to damage the fleet now. And badly, I'm afraid. M6F launched.

This is much better: 6E1F254D5BD008CDC106409137CDEB If only I planned it better! I should have made the second wave larger, few hundred TR1s larger, and it would have been a total success. Da.mn! He will now have no CY or TA defence. If someone is in vicinity with large enough TR fleet, he can take the planet in a few ticks. Unfortunately, my second wave is coming home. I will try to invade again tomorrow morning.

Maybe I won't have to damage the fleet after all...

But I must withdraw.
If I retreat my fleet, do my ground troops go as well?

Will I lose my ground troops if I withdraw?

Will I lose my ground troops if I withdraw? I don't think so. If the fleet with the invasion orders still has enough TRs then I suppose they will be saved, but I can't give you a definitive answer as I never tried it!

Good news: you don't lose ground troops when you retreat with enough transporters.

No, thanks. I'll try to do it on my own. Why don't you take slowmotion?
