Can you believe her?!? Instead of addressing all these exploits/bugs/stupid rules/restrictions, she blames us (me, if you like) for letting them out in the open. I guess we're just too da.mn democratic in the MMU community...

I guess we're just too da.mn democratic in the MMU community... Well I've had enough ...don't think I'll be around much now. If anyone wants my account then take it. Harlequin Shearer Why do I want out? Time is an issue, yes - but not insurmountable. To be honest the two biggest problems are inactivity and complexity bordering on the random. Inactivity due to the 60% rule has meant that I have only needed to save, buy, save for about 5 weeks - nothing else. This has changed recently with the Monkeys (fair play to them - a good effort), but if when we eventually destroy them then we're back to square 1 again. The complexity of the battle system is a real pain - not helped by the unwieldy(IMHO) firing order/tactics adjustment screen. It was fun to begin with when we were "discovering" what seemed like strategic nuggets of information. However, as time has gone on I feel frustrated at the number of features that appear to be totally unrealistic - e.g. Plan Z, the firing order exploit, ,interceptors acting as defenders. It became too much of a lottery to know what the impact of a string of orders will be. This doesn't mean that I'll be anti-season 3 - with some modifications and a more transparent battle system, then the game would be good. However, if I'm really, really honest, the best feature of the game was the co-ordination/forum aspects - the late night conversations and early morning postings of battle reports. The thing is... I get all that through Midnight/MU (wipes away tear...) and at least I understand the battle system in Midnight and am rarely surpised... I know that I'll always lose ;D

Perhaps i should grab myself from the neck and finnish Pacification... then we all could play THE game. No exploits, no countless clicking. Smartest would win. etc etc features.

And the client tells me the server is ongoing maintanance... it just happens to know it, even as it does not even try to connect to the internet.

You're grumpier than all of us old farts together! ;D
Game site is made for IE, unfortunately.
Servers are rather full, so you have to have a bit of patience. Btw, I'm on Alps, Rome is freshly opened.
