Nah, skulkrin should only be able to recruit skulkrin, IMO. But I had another idea: maybe, to be more useful as spies, they should be much harder to kill when discovered (able to hide from pusuers and silently slip away). Good call Matija, I like it.

I still think Skulkrin should either not be detected unless someone is right on top of them OR give them the Hide command from LOM.

I have implemented a time penalty on recruitment, and released this together with the recruitment exploit fixes as R8.

Maybe the Wise shouldn't have any additional penalty for recruiting different races?

I'd like to see how it plays as things are first. Removing the penalty on Wise would certainly make Lorgrim more attractive when starting in the NE, but the Spider would have to be placed somewhere more inaccessible to stop someone starting near Kor getting an early edge. At least Rothrorn has to be reached through a forest.
Anyway, let's see how it plays, and then I'm happy to fine-tune it. Should make games completely different in the meantime anyway.
