james of Ares has been discovered to be a massive multi, and been kicked from Ares. It would seem he is fair game for colonising. Look at the public forum for details, or see the list of his known accounts here: james-multis.blogspot.com/

are each of those nicks associated to an e-mail account? I think there are more hotmail, gmail, yahoo mail &c accounts around than people on the earth. It's not that hard to create a dozen email aliases and place them all in the same inbox.

I think I'll just keep my efforts confined to Fortress Ashimar
Oh, and Mads, I saw you made the comment somewhere that you now also got close to a 1000 cats and of your own fabrication as you wanted it top be specificly known. I ofcourse perceived that as a direct comment on me buying them to get a 1000, but it should be known that with a certain amount of islands you can produce signficant amounts of cats per day while still being able to maintain and extend one or more individual assaultfleets. It's all about critical mass. The more isles you have, the faster you can get your hands on significantly more cats.
As I'm obviously not good enough a player nor willing enough to get myself as many colonies as you've got, there is no way I could get to a 1000 cats by building them myself and still maintain 2 or 3 fleets at the sam,e time. It would also take a bloody long time !
So as far as I'm concerned that was comparing apples with pears.

If anything, it's a demonstration of your saying that "there are many roads to Rome" I don't think that there is any doubt that I have the most aggresive and expansionist playing style of us in Morkin. In simple terms, I consider this the safest play if it works. As colonies means force (given time to build it up), the less likely you are to get attacked. For some time, at least, but then you have had fun meanwhile. Oh, I actually took one of james' colonies tonight, a new one at 15:79:19. I think that it's a question of critical mass too. Once you get the ball rolling and you control the income of several isles, quickly building a colony ship for some risky takeover becomes much easier.

I've been concentrating on building up my fleets but just recently I'm happy they are big enough for me to start expanding again.
I've 4 colony ships waiting for the tsunami and I intend expanding until I get to the stage where I don't have time to manage the isles I have, I only want to login twice a day apart from when I've got new colonies to keep upgrading.
I doubt I'll ever have many more than a dozen or so isles though.
