I have mentioned to Raul that Morkin had no intentions of attacking him or any of the others; presumably he needs some time off to cool down and get over it.

I find that all these insulting words are deviating me from my christian morals. I had hoped to find a friendly group of men (who hug sometimes without anyother second intentions), but instead have walked straight into a demonic trap. Only Ringthane seems an untainted soul, and I call for his help for I fear that I might be onroute to a devilish fate. I´ll pray some God-Fathers and a couple of Hail Maries to try and exorcise all this hatred in me...... (should I put smilies?)

In retrospect I can't help to be amazed how lucky we really were.

If I have to be completely honest, I wasn't sure we did the right thing when we launched operation TaL at all, but I did my best to justiy it anyway. A few examples of what I was unsure about:

1: The attack on Perun by original_eyes. When he claimed the attack based on information that Perun was a multi, and we asked if that information came from Darklady and/or PF, he answered "maybe". But after that he stopped making sense, to me anyway, but I kept the assumption that they were behind.

2: If (1) only was an assumption, where were our evidence that DL still were scheeming against us? We felt she did, but did we have any recent examples exept for original_eyes?

3: What evidence did we have that PF were involved with DL after all this time? Did we have any evidence that they had worked together after the attacks on the LadyHawke isle?

We can all agree that TaL worked out in favour of much more Truth and Light than anyone of us could have imagined, and the revalation about Sheldon being DL and LH was discovered the same day we effectuated TaL. In hindsight we look very smart to outsiders, that we could work it out and take action, but in a way I think we acted more on gut instinct and were very, very lucky.
Concerning PF I did my best to come up with some good reasons we attacked him alongside DL, even if Chris' investigation at that time pointed to "Chrys Ledon" and/or "Rose" being the culprit behind DL and LH.
Checking Chris's messages he first had good evidence that Sheldon was DL on the evening of the 27th, 36 hours after TaL hit the isles of DL and PF.

Not only did we get lucky with the timing of that discovery, we now know that Sheldon was dismantling the DL account and giving away the isles to himself and members of hawk. Imagine we had launched TaL 1 or 2 days later, and we would have had a full scale war with hawk, as they had all the DL isles.
OR if we had launched TaL 1 or 2 days earlier, when the DL account still were active and Sheldon could have decided to call on help from all the pacts of DL.

In short, for others it must look like very good work and planning, the way things worked out for us, and Chris' full definitive DL report came just at the right time too, but if I have to be honest I think we were so lucky it's frightning. We came very close to a disaster here, and not just because of my big mouth after we knew the real truth.

How very true! The timing was 100% perfect. I still can't get over launching at Dusk Isle and hitting Asylum. And as Perun said, we now look like a knowledgable and wise bunch of people

I'm also glad that Chris came up with all the supporting evidence. I told Raul that DH=LH=PF even when we were not 100% sure about it... the DH=LH connection was a lot more certain.

And I must admit my error and apologise to Ringy for not believing him that DL=PF. He must be psychic...

So what now, do we trust that we keep being lucky, or do we not care either way? Somehow would be a shame to waste our newly gained reputation, but OTOH perhaps we should quit while we're ahead.
