For me it's different doing something for personal gain and doing something for the alliance.

And it's not against the rules if someone inherits someone else's account. I'm not saying it should be a multi-account anyway.

All I'm saying here is that it's better to have a powerful friend than a powerful enemy.

I am finishing business there. Some promises to Colm need to be fulfiled still. There is an interesting new development: as Colm predicted when he gave me the account, Freedom (rank 2 / Wraith) has just late sunday started massive scouting of most of Colm's islands. At least 2 ships per isle at once, I have detected at least 9 ships already.

For now I have sent "the model" a sort of "good humoured yet insidiously threathening bluff mail" to give him the idea (not far from the truth though) that I keep all fleets constantly at sea and will send them on rotating attackpatterns against his islands if he would do something "unfortunate". "I may not win ultimately, but it sure will hurt". And I am thinking of contacting Nemesis to see if someone of Colm's former allies can be interested in a phased colony take over to prevent Freedom from becoming too powerful. Interesting times but it proves at least that an official take over my one of us would have been doomed probably.

Deletion takes 2 weeks and will work in favour of Freedom, so i am going to pursue the anonymous deal with Nemesis - if they're interested

Short newsflash:

Freedom attcks averted by combination circumstances, defesnes, failed espionage and a lot of bluffing/covert threathening and chatting. He now believes his losses will not outweigh his gain.

Someone from VI cought air of the fact Colm gave his account away and started inquiries. I could have lied even more but decided to take him on head on. Linkin park of VI and i reached an agreement where I offered him a take over if he could find a new VI member which would be integrated in VI. He would owe me favours for that and must honour all previous pacts Colm had with the additional support for morkin, Hawk and The Org. He agreed. I had to first help VI out by joining them asap, as in : today.

Bonus: I have now full access to the VI forums (and the codes)

Bonus 2: I have until sunday/monday to take and divide 4 colonies, 2 of which are mine in ocean 13 and there is one other in 13 and one in 23. I want one for Hawk, one for Morkin. and then I'll see what to do with ocean 3, any takers ? Defenses can be broken by Colm's fleet but cats need to come from outside and I cannot compromise the account by launching attcks on Avinalaff, silent_eyes and others as that would compromise our pacts with Linkin Park, VI and Colmfinita (yes, a girl).

I hope to join Morkin again somewhere next week.
In the meantime, how do you like my new alliance page ? ;D
