Absolutely Marc, thats why we need to confirm the info is bang up to date. Also, perhaps if we set up a table, the admiral could co ordinate several smaller convoys to arrive at the same time, to help reduce the amount of ships we all have to send out? Even making use of the central stores?

I am not currently in a position to colonise, as I am only on L10 harbour and L15 storehouse (I have the other reqs). However, I can ship out surplus resources to whoever needs them, whilst building my own island up to spec.
Just let me know where to point my merchant ships and what resource to include....

OK, shall I coordinate? Admiral for Colonisation Affairs (ACA) ;D We have 3 categories: People with ColoniesSoulcatcher/Raven DavidJWest/Bait (Harbour 20/Store 20) Soiram Ringthane Perun Natmus ( I can't believe I was left out of the list and had to add myself. ) Major Defect ;D Hilander People with no ColoniesPeople with missing requirementsGuinevere Xuratoth/Sparrohawk Ashimar/Marc Arminius (harbour 17) harbour20 ) Ouroboro13/Alexander Andre (Harbour20,store16) inyati (harbour 13, store 15) I suggest that those with missing requirements add where they are (just list the missing bits, not everything). Then we can assess whether to wait for them or to give to someone who's already got colonies.

I don't need any goods to start colony production, but I will be left resourceless after it.
But I'll manage - all three resources are at lvl20.

A hidden pre-requisite is the ability to transport 3500ish g and 3000ish w
13 large or 38 small Merchant or an appropriate combination.
MajorDefect appears to be the closest to reaching requirements
Perhaps as a 'island' warming present we could send 10 - 20 ST's to ensure that it is at least partially defended the word go - Obviously only after a successful colonisation
Many thanks - but I will have to save up the resources first! I will have the capability by then! If someone reaches it first, or is ready now, I have about 7k of gold and lumber that I can send off.

I thought that you just piled all the resources into the colony ship, and that allowed you to colonise. How do you use the merchant ships during colonisation?

That's the 10% you'll contribute to the effort. But we're more than ten people on the list now, so the numbers are smaller. And presumably you can transport it in batches.

A small tip, that I am sure everyone has worked out but just in case.
If, like me, you have access to a browser all day, then upgrade the items that take least time during the day, then upgrade the items that take most time at night, when you are asleep.
That way, you will get more upgrades in a 24-hour cycle, since if you had upgraded the long-time items in the day, you may have gone to bed before they completed, anbd therefore wasted the night hours.
Hence why I am going for harbour 12 before SH20.
