Thinking about it, since guidance never reports on Shades, as the game nears its end, an utterly courageous lord at a tower should be able to find the enemy king pretty much every turn.

I was going to make a new thread but it probably makes more sense to suggest this here:
Would providing a significant combat advantage modifier to armies fighting with their King present (assuming this isn't already the case) perhaps encourage people to put their main man in the front line more.
I always keep my King at the forefront of any offensive personally as I don't have the patience myself to go hunting down a single Lord and so assume opponents don't either, that and I feel it's more in the spirit of things. I can't imagine Aragorn kicking back at Beorn's pad while the Rohan and Men of Gondor fight the hosts of Mordor on the borders of the Ithilien.
Not sure what the advantage could be - perhaps a 2 to 1 slaying ratio with the King present being cancelled out if the enemy King is present.
Just a thought - possibly a daft one.

I think a 5% bonus is in place, or something...

Kings themselves fight better than standard lords, but the men around them don't get that bonus. (At the moment anyway)

If vassals got the bonus too there would be a definite incentive to have your King in a major engagement I would have thought.
The bonus multiplied across eleven armies would make it worthwhile getting your King in there I think.
Stop the skulking a little maybe.

Yes, but I always keep my king in reserve! You mean I would have to stop being a coward? No, no, oh please no. I might get hurt...

Disgression is the better part...?
Now I think about it....perhaps my tactic of always going in with my King is a contributing factor to me not having won a game yet.....
