I thank all who have sent supplies. For the record I haven't kept score of who owes who what, but I assume we still agree to work together in attempt to get the most out of our resources.

I feel new colonies are becoming more commonplace from our competitors as well, so those who have aspirations of colonies should concentrate on building those, over the lure of catapults and such.

I think there's a danger in too rapid expansion beyond what you can safely defend. There was a discussion on the Inselkampf forum about high score players with lots of islands but no fleets, and how easy it would be to take the islands off them. You don't want to fall into that trap, especially if your islands are close to the likes of Avinalaff.

Well, I think there are arguments to support both sides of the issue. Generally I am trying to get a handfull of colonies out and running before free isles becomes rare. Nice little ocean 15 are mainly untouched by the big ones, but one of them arriving today told me that was gonna change, and soon too. So I'm gonna get me one more, in 15:10 and then the colonies will be consolidated. If I need more, they will be placed close by, not spread out like the first pioneering ones.

I hope you notice that all my colonies have been placed far, far away from avinalaff
