I'm building harbour level 20 now so I should be looking for an isle to colonise. Is it a good idea to pick one in the same square cause everywhere else I look there are big players.

Both MajorD and myself have build our oil rigs in the same square. Makes support very easy: it's just 20mins for a quick delivery of materials.

For my next colony I'll look further away, but for the beginning I'm quite pleased it's so close.

That's the million dollar question!

I think I'd go for somewhere fairly close to other Morkin members for a bit of protection.

Build the main house up to level 2 asap at least to stop your colony being taken over.
