This is the end Beautiful friend This is the end My only friend, the end Of our elaborate plans, the end Of everything that stands, the end No safety or surprise, the end I'll never look into your eyes...again Anyway, if J-Y get the Journals working before you go on vacation, you should look into them. I think you will be pleasently surprised how much worry you gave me during this game

I'll only be pleasantly surprised when I whupp your sorry Culo! ;D Seriously that was an enjoyable short game, I was surprised you'd gotten to Luxor so quickly else I wouldn't have sent my main man up there. Out of interest where exactly did you start? I was just west of that clump of trees west of Marakith and I wasn't sure whether to go for him or Thrall. In the end I chose Marakith and was surprised to see you'd got Herath - that made me think you must have started just north of the mountains around the south of Dreams somewhere so I thought I could beat you to Gorgrath, Luxor et al. Out of interest did you find a lack of cups of dreams? I don't remember getting any and I did search a fair amount of liths etc. Once I knew you'd gotten to Luxor just before me I knew the game was probably over as I had too few men near enough to help. Still a good game, you only needed one more citadel to win that way by my reckoning! My final plan was to retreat to Gard where I had a fairly large force gathering, but I didn't get there as tiredness kicked in too quickly. Next time.......... ;D

Seriously that was an enjoyable short game, I was surprised you'd gotten to Luxor so quickly else I wouldn't have sent my main man up there. Both races for Gorgrath and Lex were very close. I got to Gorgrath with a dragon just in time to block your recruitment, and then had people on the way to win a fight there. The same dragon went west to check on your progress there and found Skulkrin_Bait as he had made a wrong turn and was standing between the mountains of Dodrak and Ashimar instead of moving west to the next pass. Even so, Doomdark just made it to Lex in time. Very good guess. I started on the SE edge of the forest of Dreams, and had the option of reaching (but not recruiting) either Dreams or Ul-Artaht at nightfall. I chose Ul-Artaht, and sent him south, and Natmus went to Dreams next. Day 3 (this is where it gets interesting) Natmus went NE for Karya, Dreams N for Morgallis and Ul-Artaht broke out of the mountains to Herath, recruited him, and then saw Marakith heading up.... Had I moved Ul-Artaht first I would have moved Dreams differently, heading straight SW for Rachel, Gorgrath and those guys. As it was I had him recruit Morgallis and let him recruit the Foul, while Dreams turned around and headed south, but two days behind what he could have been at... Letting Herath move south to recruit Zerin inside your territory and having her as a blocker at Gorgrath was pure inspiration Not my usual modus operandi. None that I remember. I remember three liths in a row turning up nothing, a few Bloods of Courage, but no Cups. But I rarely spend much time searching in the beginning of the game, usually I wait for things to have settled down. And as I had seen you coming from some distance away I had most of my men heading that way Nah, I had no chance of doing a 12C. Nearest citadels for me was Kumar, Marakith or Shimeril, and I had no troops near them at all. Yes, climbing mountains will do that to you ;D Next time you will be rested from a hopefully nice vacation. Have a nice one, _Bait.
