Heavy duty users would also appriciate if the default value off from full edge resampling. would disappear Text "Recommended" next to it would do the job i think?

I meant the bitmap importer, to have a customisable color-terraintype combinations, so users wont have to stick with only plain-down-forest-mountain. Each pre-defined color-terraintype pair would need to show in editor only as a empty tile of the defined color. (Associating them also with any existing editor graphics-tile wouldnt do any harm i think, but dont think that so important that i would make official request about it) I meant the same - combining id, pictogram, color and terrain description in one listview.

I was allmost sure you had the idea allready, but since i'll be totally gone from friday evening, i just wanted to make sure i was making myself understandable. (I sometimes tend to have difficulties in this matter ;D )

Thank you for including my latest request. In fact, I appreciate it so much I'm going to make a new one: If you're going to implement users defined terrain types, could you also allow for the enabling/disabling of individual terrain types? This is particularly significant for forests at the moment, because neither algorithm handles them properly yet. (Yes, I know you're aware of this) Also, would it be possible to re-edit the parameters in imported projects? As far as I can tell, imported projects can be displayed and output in all the various formats, but not tweaked.

I think that's the way the userdefined will be, without them.
And if i understood correctly, UniMapGen is extracted part from MEScEd project. And will definitely have editing possibilities when the time is right. But you can allready make huge benefit of the prgram by combining it to Image editor, sql, php + gdlib, notepad etc...

I checked the "terrain graphics selector" in MEScEd, and it's allmost perfect for the "Custom terraintype selection" thing in map importer. I just hope it's not too difficult to add to the project.

Didn't quite catch what you mean here... You can load/save projects already, and tweak them in between. I'm gonna add editable seed for rare terrain generation also, so it won't be totally random any more. What tweaks can be saved for imported pics? Settings on the wizard pages?

I really did put that badly, didn't I? I mean saving the settings on the wizard pages, so that they can be reloaded and the project tweaked - unless this is already possible and I somehow missed it. (I was referring to imported UniMapGen projects, not imported bitmaps) Adding a seed for the rare terrain generation is a great idea, which will again help with fine-tuning.

I've noticed that quite some applications use thatkind of a map, so import also (It allready has the export) would be nice.

Save/Load UniMapGen project is there from v1.90. All "Save as XXX" commands are now under one button on the toolbar.

That would be great. Longer term, it's likely that I remove the text map and just the SQL back end. However, that is longer term, and in the interim the text maps would be good.
