I have a colony under construction. If your attack is successfull, I *will* retake the isle tomorrow. You can leave it there, if you want.
Don't get me wrong, I have spied you ocean 15 and 6 isles (wihtout losses, even with 3 missions to each isle), and I can take your ocean 15 isle without problems as it's very close to my main isle and a few other of my good fleets. A few from my alliance is interested in your ocean 6 isle, even if the defenses are quite good.

The bottom line is that I and my alliance are willing to make this a full war, unless you make a settlement.
If you don't want a war, we are the wrong people to mess with.
Either your attack fail, and you leave me alone in the future, or I re-take the isle without any trouble from you. OK?

Like Mads said, it's best to not pour in rapid mobile reaction forces and to just wear him down as he is extremely far off and thus we can see his actions from afar and with days intervals.

i dont no how u no about me in a.fury but if u no as much as i think u no u should no that i lost my army in a persnal war so dont bother callin me a points player, and iv come a long way since then and iv learnt alot about wars and how to fight them.
if i was such a coward, why arent i threatening to get my pacts against you? cus ur m8 natmus is doing just that.

besides, my intentions were to take a colony and not to start sum war. id rather just leave it and if my atack gets destroyed then so be it. if not then we'l go from there..

The fleet turned out to be modest, when it came down to it:

150 LW, 50 SW, 500 spears, 100 archers and 12 cats.
As I hadn't reinforced the garrison of STs on the isle (it had it's original 900 ST wiped during the Solstice) some of them survived but the colonisation failed.

I informed him that if he let it lie there, there would be no futher actions taken against him, and here's his answer:

i hav spied on a few of ur isles and i do admit u have more lws than i thouight u had.. i dont want are aliances to go to war as nearly all of ppl in my aliance have only just started off.
and i cant aford to send my fleets out as i have just caught jason(wraith) spying on my ocean1 isles..

if u want il pay u 5000gold 5000lumber as as ,much stone as u want to rebuild whatever i damaged on ur island. soz about atack and it wont happen again

I think I can afford to be generous and say he can keep his compensation. Any kind of apology, which he actually gives, is rare in this game, and I prefer that above any virtual-material gain.

Glad our buildup can continue unhindered. As the (un)official Inselkampf thread on warfleet sizes indicates, big fleets are far more rare than we thought and the more you have, the less you loose.
