I know the Huntsman is some squares south of the Citadel of Dregrim and hard up against the eastern icy wastes. I will get a more accurate position later.

I see no one spotted the deliberate mistake: there isn't anything north of the Citadel of Gloom, except ice. That should be Citadel of Grarg, of course. But now he's back in red... I want him back in black... ;D

The Huntsman's precise position is 4 squares southeast of the Citadel of Dregrim and two squares east of the Tower of Coom. There is no stronghold. That leaves Amarin's new position, and anyone else I might not know about, like Mads' second Foul lady. Zerin's position is confirmed as north of the lith, not northwest.

But now he's back in red... I want him back in black... ;D Good point. Who threw red paint all over his nice black shiny scales? Reason enough for a [LOWEST] bug report, do you think?

It took almost a second for me to grasp that myself. The rest of your description fitted Grarg perfectly, so I doubt anyone had trouble understanding that you meant Grarg the whole time.

These are the only ones I have located myself so far. There's also Alright Huntsman somewhere in Dregrim. Isn't it funny how confusing things get when punctuation is missing? Ever since Fernando posted his announcement about finding The Huntsman, I've been under the belief that he was called "Alright the Huntsman". ;D ;D ;D ;D

Corrected: I found Amarin just the square south of the ruin in the mountains NE of Xajorkith. Two squares NE and one N from the Citadel itself. My second Foul lady is pure speculation, and a feeling that the Crayon likes things in pairs

Mads, slightly off-topic I can say that I have recruited almost 40 lords in a game with Dai without any benefit frmo Targ rider bonus. In fact, I did not disband, because I couldn't ;D and still...

No second Foul lady as yet. I think that ALL lords are now known, including whereabouts, and also terrain changes.

And to confirm your point, I have recruited 41 lords AGAINST you despite the Targ bonus. However, I agree with Mads. The Targ cavalry bonus must be reduced. One or two extra leagues in a straight line on the plains would be plenty to give them a tactical edge. Their current bonus is too much. I'm happy keeping the Wise as they are though. It makes them far more than just Guidance collectors. Dragon speed feels OK too, but I believe they still die too quickly when supported by other armies, as do lords without armies.

So if I get it right, the current proposal is
- Targ bonus +2 plains to riders - Wise as they are - Dragons as they are + "army effect" -> improved energy?
Hmm... I concur... I have already seen a spitting flame shield, I can rest for a few more eons...

One extra move should be all, not two. I'm still not sure if it's two or three extra straight moves they make at present, has anybody put them to a controlled test? At present time there's three wise. Lorgrim always gets recruited late, so it's not him that is a problem, but Rorthrorn and in particular the Spider can have a significant influence on the game in the recruitment phase. But I don't understand why their speed were set up in the first place, were there any need for that? ADDED: AND WHY are we discussing this subject in this thread, when there's a perfectly good thread called 'Targ cavalry' that would be much, much more suited for it? Thread Polluters!
