I suppose we will get used to it. Knowing this game I can see the advantage, but a newbie may be very confused at first, considering the classical LOM or ME layout.
Do you have an estimate on how much more bandwidth the extra information will cost? I have ADSL, so the problem is not in my end, but sometimes I think the data coming from the server is a bit slow.

Yeah, baby! Send it our way without further delay! I love when JY listens to my suggestions... ;D ;D Still, no fancy buttons...

My thinking is that I'll leave the buttons until last, since they may change (eg To and From have lost the chevrons), may be added to (Allies), may be dropped (Map), etc. I do still intend to get them in there, honest

Please let me know which bit is confusing. I need to cater for newbies too of course. Hopefully when I get around to writing the manual, everything should be as clear as, errr, Marakith fish soup. The bandwidth should be smaller, as I'm taking out loads of client-side validation, so I need far fewer hidden fields, so less html. The gfx bars are < 1K each (just a few bytes in fact) - it is the browser that stretches them by specifying a width and height attributes on the image.

Yeah, let's have it. ;D
It appears from the picture that now armies of more than 2500 soldiers will be possible?

And maybe it'd look even more pleasing if the tops of left and right 'box' were aligned?

THe whole of the right hand side has been stripped down and recoded/reformatted, so some new gremlins have crept in. Getting closer to a release now though... maybe just another three or four... years ;D

It's quite scary seeing the strength bar fall noticeably as you move. Going through mountains in particular
